Patricia Shanks taught a commercial voice-over workshop for Women In Animation members and guests, October 2009. Recently she wrote and provided the voice-over for a County of Los Angeles Child Support Services Department PSA, a project produced under the auspices of Women In Film and Santa Monica City TV.

Recently, Patricia voiced three medical programs for Philips Healthcare, and a sales DVD for a medical billing program. She also provided recorded narration for the Los Angeles Board of Supervisors Quality and Productivity Awards banquet, she narrated a tribute for the Ronald Simon Foundation, and she narrated an ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) presentation for the Massachusetts State House.

Other projects include a sales and training demo for an online real estate listing service, and a welcome and safety message for Lincoln Homes National Historic Site.

On-camera, Patricia did some mini-hosting for an online vacation network. She continues to voice Toyota dealership spots for the East Coast market. As red carpet reporter, Patricia interviewed celebrities including Chad Lowe, Randy Spelling, David Weintraub, Alexander Nevsky, Robert Davi and others at the Newport Beach Film Festival
